Just got an email from the publisher. According to him they are "Getting all their ducks in a row", and the publishing process should start soon.
I emailed back that so long as one of the ducks was an editor that was fine, and sent him this photo.
He sent back a smiley and said the editor was the duck on the end.
It is good to have someone who appreciates my sense of humor!
Also I saw a pair of giant hawks in the forest today. The light was wrong to get a good identification on them but still a good sign!
